Look Outside, the survival horror RPG from solo developer Francis Coulombe and publisher Devolver Digital, has launched a major free 2.0 update called Final Vision on PC. The patch is available now for all owners and arrives alongside a sales milestone of more than 200,000 copies sold.

Final Vision expands the game with multiple new endings, a surprise-filled Cursed challenge mode, fresh interactions, new areas and quests, dozens of monsters, new boss encounters, and “horrible new secrets.” Existing players can download the update today on Steam. For newcomers, Look Outside is currently discounted by 30% for a limited time.
Set entirely inside a single apartment building, Look Outside blends resource-tight survival horror with turn-based combat.

Explore floors to scavenge food, tools, and break-prone weapons; meet unsettling residents; then retreat to your apartment to save, cook, craft, and keep morale and hygiene in check before the next foray.
That home hub isn’t just flavor; it gates core actions like saving on Normal difficulty, while Easy mode relaxes the rules and lets you save anywhere, making experimentation easier for new players.
Many encounters begin with an enemy at a distance; as turns pass, they advance, revealing their full form and changing which attacks are viable, a small twist that keeps fights readable but tense.

Weapons degrade, resources are tight, and running is sometimes the right choice, yet the game leaves room for empathy and non-violent outcomes with certain characters. Most players can expect a concise campaign with a roughly 10–12 hour run.
Since its March 21, 2025, release, the game has held an Overwhelmingly Positive rating.
Final Vision is live now on PC via Steam. A limited-time 30% discount on the base game is also active at the time of writing.
