Falcom isn’t stopping at just one trip back to Liberl. After confirming the remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky First Chapter, president Toshihiro Kondo has now made it clear that the second chapter, SC, is also getting the same treatment.

In his words during the Automaton Interview, it would be strange to remake the opening half of the story and then leave players hanging.
The first remake is already dated for September 19, 2025, landing on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.
That sets the stage for SC to follow not long after. Kondo stressed that Falcom doesn’t want to repeat the long wait that plagued the series years ago, when the original second chapter trailed two years behind. This time, the gap should be far shorter, with 2026 looking like the likely window.

Kondo also hinted that if the appetite is there, other arcs in the wider Kiseki saga might see the same treatment, including Zero and Azure.
For now, though, the focus is on making sure the remade Trails in the Sky duology stands as a complete experience rather than half a story. Players picking up the new First Chapter won’t have to wonder for long when the continuation will arrive.
