Standard and Collector’s editions are up for pre-order ahead of the Q2 2026 release window.
Pre-orders are now live for the Long Gone Days physical editions, with a PlayStation 5 version plus a Nintendo Switch version planned for a Q2 2026 release window. The physical run is being handled through publisher Serenity Forge with European distribution through Tesura Games, giving the narrative-driven RPG a boxed option after its digital launch.

Two versions are on offer. The Standard Edition is priced at $44.99 in North America and €39.99 in Europe, and it includes the physical game plus a sticker sheet.
The Collector’s Edition comes in at $99.99 in North America and €79.99 in Europe, and it builds on the Standard package with a 72-page art book, a set of acrylic chibi standees, a themed luggage tag, a soundtrack CD, plus a collector’s box.
In North America, pre-orders are available through Serenity Forge’s online store, where the listing notes shipping is expected in Q2 2026. In Europe, Tesura Games is taking orders through its own store, while also pointing to wider retail availability.

Long Gone Days is a modern-day RPG built around the human texture of conflict rather than fantasy abstraction. The story follows Rourke, raised underground by a private military organization called The Core, then sent out on a support mission to Poland.
The early premise hinges on disillusionment. His first real operation goes smoothly in the tactical sense, but it exposes what The Core actually is, pushing him toward desertion and a very different kind of fight.
The game leans into turn-based combat with a few specific twists that fit its sniper-trained lead. Combat includes a dedicated Sniper Mode for picking targets at range, while close engagements shift into front view battles where enemy body parts can be targeted for situational advantages.

Encounters are curated rather than thrown in as filler, with the stated goal of keeping every fight tied to the plot rather than padding the runtime with random encounters.
Long Gone Days puts a lot of weight on the social friction that war creates. It foregrounds civilians, borders, plus language barriers, and it uses party bonding and choice-driven moments to keep the story grounded in small consequences as much as big ones. That focus is part of why the game has often been described more as a narrative-driven RPG than a pure tactics romp, even when its battles ask for careful positioning and targeted shots.
The game originally launched digitally in 2023 across PC and console platforms, so these boxed releases are aimed at players who want a cartridge or disc version for PS5 or Switch, plus the extra physical goods that come with the higher tier.
