Pre-orders are live for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the next turn-based entry in Capcom’s Riders spin-off, launching on March 13, 2026.
Capcom confirmed the date alongside fresh trailers; some storefronts display March 12 due to regional time zones, but the PlayStation introduction video sets March 13 as the global target. Platforms include PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, with Nintendo’s next system also referenced in earlier partner-showcase coverage.
Set between the rival nations of Azuria and Vermeil, Twisted Reflection leans into the series’ story-first JRPG structure: Riders bond with “Monsties,” explore open regions, and battle in turn-based encounters while the Crystal Encroachment spreads across the land.
Capcom’s site materials outline the twin-Rathalos premise and the Azuria–Vermeil conflict, while store pages and recent media confirm returning and debut monsters, including Magnamalo’s Stories appearance.
The new trailers also tease a major boss return: Yama Tsukami appears as a colossal Feral variant tied to the crystallization threat. That reveal arrives alongside a broader look at characters and factions featured in the campaign, which you can watch here.
On the systems side, Capcom highlights party-wide traversal and field actions, on-the-fly Monstie swapping for riding moves such as flight and wall-climbing, plus a character creator that lets you define the protagonist at start and adjust appearance later at the Rangers’ base.
Side Stories expand companions and reward progression with items, new Monsties or weapons, and upgrades to unique skills.
Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe editions are available to pre-purchase now. Deluxe adds a “Rudy” side story and a pack of layered outfits and hairstyles for key characters like Eleanor, Gaul, Kora, Ogden, and Thea; Premium Deluxe layers on an additional DLC pack of cosmetics.
A universal pre-order bonus grants Eleanor the Skyscale Queen layered armor set; store listings note that it’s cosmetic-only and may be offered by other means after launch.
Save-data bonuses return: players with data from Monster Hunter Stories (2024 remaster), Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, and Monster Hunter Rise can unlock extra layered armor sets themed after those games. Capcom also teased amiibo support for the Nintendo release, offering additional cosmetic unlocks.
For PC, the Steam page is live with regional release timing and language support; PlayStation and Xbox storefronts are taking pre-orders now and detail the edition contents and pre-order bonus.
