It was, for sure, one of the big surprises of 2024 and now Knock on the Coffin Lid, a dark fantasy roguelike deckbuilder, has announced its first major DLC titled Nightmares of Millenis. This DLC is set to expand the game’s rich and atmospheric world with new challenges and content. Scheduled for release in April 2025, Nightmares of Millenis promises to dive deeper into the dark, gothic setting of the game, introducing new enemies, scenarios, and possibly even additional storylines.
Interestingly, this DLC will be free for players who purchased the game before its official release. For others, it will be available for purchase, although the price has not been disclosed yet.
The base game itself was only recently released in August 2024, after spending five years in Early Access. It has been praised for its unique blend of narrative depth and inspired graphic style, which distinguishes it from other titles in the roguelike deckbuilder genre. The upcoming DLC is expected to build on these strengths, offering even more replayability and new content to explore.
