LumentTale Overview

Dive into the beautiful world of Talea today on PC and Nintendo Switch to claim exclusive early-adopter bonuses before they disappear.

Indie publisher Team17 and developer Beehive Studios have officially launched their highly anticipated monster-collecting RPG adventure, LumenTale: Memories of Trey.

LumenTale

Available starting today on PC (via Steam) and the Nintendo Switch (with full backward compatibility for Nintendo Switch 2), the game invites players into a vibrant world where memories and emotions hold the key to survival.

LumenTale: Memories of Trey follows the journey of Trey, a young protagonist who awakens in the breathtaking, enchanting land of Talea with no recollection of his past.

To recover his identity, players must traverse a beautifully crafted world that merges immersive 3D environments with distinct, nostalgic pixel-art characters, giving the game a gorgeous “HD-2D” visual identity.

Catch with the Holoken, Battle with Emotion

Throughout Talea, players will encounter over 140 unique types of Animon, mystical creatures imbued with “Anivis,” a powerful energy that directly influences the souls and feelings of every living being.

LumenTale - Upcoming Turn-Based RPGs 2023

Using a specialized device called the Holoken, players can test their skills to capture Animon directly in the field or engage them in classic turn-based tactical combat.

LumenTale shakes up traditional monster-battling mechanics by introducing deep psychological strategy. Every Animon species is bound to one of five distinct emotional attribute groups. Utilizing these attributes properly changes the tide of battle:

  • Sereum Attribute: Imbues your team with pure serenity, significantly boosting critical hit ratios.
  • Horrens Attribute: Strikes raw terror into opponents, opening up structural weaknesses that allow Trey’s party to defeat them in swift, single-turn strikes.

Combat scales dynamically, allowing players to test their tactical grit in everything from focused 1v1 duels to chaotic 4v4 team showdowns across both single-player stories and competitive online PvP matches.

Beyond the Battlefield: The Anispace

When players need a break from exploring ancient ruins, deep dungeons, and busy port towns like Costa Linda, they can retreat to The Anispace. The Anispace is a customizable pocket dimension where captured Animon reside when not in the active party.

Players can purchase and craft a wide array of furniture to decorate small rooms, set up specialized training grounds, or cook complex recipes discovered on their travels.

Spending quality time resting and nurturing Animon inside the Anispace deepens Trey’s bond with his creatures, directly translating to increased stats and better coordination during tough boss fights.

Availability and Early Adopter Offers

LumenTale: Memories of Trey is available today in three distinct digital versions:

  1. Standard Edition: The complete base game.
  2. Deluxe Edition: Includes the base game and exclusive deluxe DLC cosmetics.
  3. Lumen Edition (Steam Only): Comprises the base game, Deluxe DLC, the official digital soundtrack featuring the enchanting vocals of Emi Evans, and a digital artbook.

To celebrate the global launch, anyone who purchases LumenTale between May 26 and June 25, 2026, will receive the Early Adopter Offering at no extra cost.

This limited-time pack grants players exclusive furniture for their Anispace, a starter set of item-catching Bilias (including rare Velox and Lost variations), in-game Memostones, and a collection of digital tradeable art cards featuring a holographic Lampecko card. Below is the launch trailer.
