Magnum Scriptum’s turn-based extraction roguelike is getting its full release with final storylines, multiple endings, achievements, a map editor, and more.
After years of updates, dead mercenaries, failed extractions, and corporate horror, Quasimorph is finally ready to leave Early Access. Developer Magnum Scriptum has confirmed that the full 1.0 release will launch on July 31, 2026, marking a major milestone for the sci-fi roguelike RPG after its Steam Early Access debut in October 2023.

Quasimorph is a grim turn-based extraction RPG set in a future where corporations have pushed their power far beyond Earth.
Players run a private military company and send disposable mercenaries into hostile stations, laboratories, ships, and planetary facilities in search of loot, contracts, and answers. The catch is simple: make it out alive, and everything you bring back strengthens your operation. Die inside, and the gear is gone with you.
Quasimorph mixes tactical, grid-based combat with traditional roguelike mechanics, survival elements, and a heavy dose of body horror.

Every mission can fall apart quickly, especially when enemies start piling up, resources run low, or the more nightmarish side of the setting begins to take over.
The 1.0 update will also give the game’s narrative a proper endpoint. Magnum Scriptum is adding five storylines and nine endings, each with its own epilogue. The confirmed paths include Civil Resistance, Tezctlan, Xiomara, AnCom, and RealWare, giving players several ways to shape the final stretch of their company’s story and the wider conflict surrounding them.
Version 1.0 will introduce the final remaining department, tied to Pacts, and expand the total number of Pacts to 142.

The update will also add achievements, a Map Editor, localization improvements, balance adjustments, and a large list of fixes and tweaks.
Quasimorph has come a long way since development began in 2021. Before Early Access, players were introduced to the project through Exordium and the free prologue End of Dream, both of which helped establish its mix of combat, corporate dystopia, and demonic sci-fi horror.
Since then, the game has grown through regular updates, adding new weapons, equipment, implants, augmentations, classes, mercenaries, factions, and missions. Quasimorph 1.0 launches on July 31, 2026, on PC via Steam.
