Unexpected’s tactical roguelite is preparing to leave Early Access this September, with Goblinz Publishing now supporting the road to release.
After several months in Early Access, Deified now has a final destination. Developer Unexpected announced that the game will leave Early Access on September 21, 2026, alongside two other pieces of news: Goblinz Publishing is joining the project as publisher, and a new trailer has been released to mark the announcement.

The announcement also brings a new partner into the picture, as Goblinz Publishing has joined the project as publisher.
Deified is built around turn-based battles, relic management, and roguelite progression. Players guide Sator through a dark fantasy world shaped by corrupted relics, trying to create powerful builds while dealing with the risks attached to each choice.
Every relic slot can change a run in meaningful ways, offering useful bonuses but also possible drawbacks that need to be worked around.

The game is not just about picking the strongest item and moving forward; it asks players to think about how relics interact, how much risk they are willing to take, and how their build can survive when the game starts pushing back harder.
Early Access has allowed the developers to adjust those systems with player feedback, especially around combat balance, progression, readability, and build variety. The full release is expected to bring the remaining content together, including final improvements and the pieces needed to complete the experience.
Deified is available now in Early Access on Steam, with the full 1.0 release scheduled for September 21, 2026.
