Solasta II

Tactical Adventures has confirmed that multiplayer is coming to Solasta II on September 10, 2026, as part of the RPG’s first major Early Access update. The update will introduce online co-op for up to four players, alongside the new Warlock class, additional world events, character customization options, cloud saves, and several requested quality-of-life improvements.

Multiplayer has been one of the biggest missing pieces since Solasta II entered Early Access, especially given how closely the series draws from tabletop RPGs. From September 10, groups will be able to take an existing campaign online or start a new adventure together.

Four-Player Co-Op, Hot Join, and Party Voting

The multiplayer system supports up to four players online, with Hot Join allowing friends to enter a campaign that is already underway.

Tactical Adventures is also introducing Party Choice Voting, giving everyone in the group a say during important conversations and story decisions. A new ping system should make coordination during exploration and tactical encounters easier without requiring constant voice communication.

These additions feel particularly well suited to Solasta II. Party composition, positioning, spell usage, and shared decision-making are already fundamental to its tabletop-inspired design, so cooperative play fits naturally into the existing structure.

The Warlock Becomes Solasta II’s Seventh Class

Update 1 will also expand the character roster with the Warlock, becoming the seventh playable class currently available.

Solasta II New Screen

Two Warlock subclasses are planned for the September update.

The Timekeeper specializes in manipulating the flow of battle. Its abilities can help allies act more quickly while interfering with enemies, including effects capable of removing opposing reactions.

The Dreamer takes a darker approach, using nightmares and supernatural effects to put enemies to sleep and inflict exhaustion.

The addition gives party builders another spellcasting option to work with and, more importantly, another set of mechanics that can influence the game’s turn-based encounters in unusual ways.

Dice-Rolled Stats, New Events, and More Customization

The September update stretches well beyond multiplayer and the Warlock.

Solasta II Customization

One notable addition is traditional dice rolling for character attributes, giving players another option when creating their party. Tactical Adventures is also adding optional spell component rules, allowing groups to simplify this part of the tabletop ruleset if they prefer a more accessible campaign.

Exploring the world should become a little less predictable as well, with around 30 new world events being added across the continent.

Character creation is receiving additional cosmetic options, including:

  • New hairstyles
  • New beards
  • New tattoos
  • New warpaints

Cloud saves are also coming with the update, while controller users will get a shortcut for activating Cautious Mode during exploration.

Solasta II Update 1 – Main Additions

The September 10 update includes:

  • Online co-op for up to four players
  • Hot Join multiplayer
  • Party Choice Voting during important decisions
  • A tactical ping system
  • The Warlock playable class
  • Timekeeper and Dreamer Warlock subclasses
  • Around 30 new world events
  • Expanded character customization
  • Dice rolling for character stats
  • Optional spell component rules
  • Cloud saves
  • A controller shortcut for Cautious Mode

Solasta II remains in Early Access on PC via Steam, with Tactical Adventures continuing to gather community feedback as development moves toward the full release.

For anyone who enjoyed treating the first Solasta as a digital tabletop campaign with friends, September 10 looks like the point where the sequel will finally start delivering that same cooperative experience.
