Chimera Entertainment has outlined the next steps for Songs of Silence, detailing a roadmap that adds new content, quality-of-life upgrades, and faction DLC scheduled for early 2025 up to mid-2026.
Originally released in November 2024, Songs of Silence is set in a fantasy world torn apart by war. It combines traditional strategy map movement with tactical auto battles driven by a unique card-based system.
Each faction offers distinct units, abilities, and playstyles, while hero characters bring further depth through powerful skills and story-driven choices.
What sets Songs of Silence apart is its striking Art Nouveau-inspired visual style and its focus on narrative. Players can experience full campaigns, skirmish battles, and multiplayer matches, tailoring their approach with a mix of strategy, resource management, and tactical decision-making.
With ongoing updates and a growing content roadmap, the game continues to expand on its blend of artistic presentation and deep strategic mechanics.
The next milestone is the Multiplayer Upgrade, planned for Q4 2025. This update brings a revamped matchmaking lobby for skirmish, tutorials for all existing factions, a PC-only Friend Pass to invite friends, and a new spectator mode. The developers also hinted at additional multiplayer improvements still to come.
In early 2026, the game will expand with the Location Management Upgrade. This update adds a progression tree for locations to allow deeper customization, applies a full rebalancing pass for both campaign and skirmish, and will go through an open beta period before its full release.
Following that, DLC 2 is scheduled for winter 2026. It introduces a standalone campaign, a new playable faction with unique units, new hero classes for skirmish strategies, and fresh cards for both the strategy map and battles.
Later in 2026, DLC 3 will add another standalone campaign, an additional faction, more hero classes, and new cards, with further features to be announced. Together, these expansions aim to broaden both the narrative scope and the tactical depth of the game. You can read the full note here.
