Today, I want to highlight a unique tactical roguelite that recently dropped a playable demo. It’s called Dark Age Dinos. Imagine a mix of prehistoric beasts and medieval tactics, where strategic positioning and adaptive gameplay are key. In Dark Age Dinos, you’ll command squads of armored dinosaurs through procedurally generated levels and tactical combat. Developed by Woolly Walrus Games, this unique tactics game allows you to embark on short, cooperative adventures either solo or with friends.

The game emphasizes teamwork, with up to four players working together to overcome enemies, manage abilities, and collect loot across diverse missions. Each mission is self-contained, featuring its own objectives and challenges.

Set in Cretacia, a war-torn world inhabited by bandits and dinosaurs, where strategy is key to success. You can engage in both single-player and multiplayer modes, with an online co-op feature supporting up to four players.

Dark Age Dinos is still in development with no official release date announced yet. Its combination of medieval themes, dinosaurs, and tactical gameplay makes it stand out, especially for fans of roguelites and co-op experiences. Give Dark Age Dinos Demo a try, as you can find it on Steam. Below are some screens and the trailer.

Travel alone or with friends through the land of Cretacia – a land of war, banditry and dinosaurs. Each mission is a short, self-contained journey with its own enemies, ability combinations, loot and objectives. Your friend can’t make it tonight? They can join you on the next mission tomorrow without getting left behind. Or you can strike out on your own. We get it, not everybody wants to share the power and glory.

Every mission is different and not every journey ends in victory. You’ll recruit new characters with each outing, so even defeat has its upside. What are you waiting for? Cretacia isn’t going to save itself!
