Bonaparte - A Mechanized Revolution Release Date

Bonaparte – A Mechanized Revolution has just received its second major update in the Coups d’État patch, now delivering fresh content, the campaign’s epic conclusion, strategic tweaks, sound enhancements, and a broad sweep of bug fixes.

Bonaparte: A Mechanized Revolution

Set in 1789 Paris, Bonaparte – A Mechanized Revolution places you in the shoes of Céline or César Bonaparte, navigating the volatile landscape of the French Revolution in a steampunk‑meets‑political simulation.

Players may uphold the monarchy, champion reform, or impose radical change, all while commanding steam‑powered Colossi across turn‑based, tactical battlefields. Political maneuvering, infrastructure development, propaganda, and engagement with historical figures like Robespierre, Lafayette, and Danton form the backbone of the gameplay.

Bonaparte Game Review

Designed by indie studio Studio Imugi and currently in Early Access, devs have just rolled out a significant update.

Building on the thematic foundation of the Coup of 18 Brumaire, the update introduces Part III campaign events and battles, alongside an ultimate narrative arc that fully concludes the game.

A new trial instance feature activates when a faction loses all its territories, injecting high-stakes drama into the strategic layer. Both the strategic and tactical domains benefit from improved sound effects, including newly implemented 3D audio in battle, and rebalanced systems.

For example, Colossi constructs are now completed immediately, while outdated buildings like Hospitals and Workshops have been removed for greater game balance.

Improved battlefield clarity comes via a redesigned rural biome map and smarter AI movement; meanwhile, outcome pacing in Part II has been refined.

On the bugfix front, the update addresses a wide range of issues, from UI glitches and unit behavior anomalies to audio continuity and dialogue typo corrections.

Although existing save files remain compatible, a fresh campaign journey is recommended for the full, polished experience. Players can read the complete patch notes via the official Steam page.
