Massive Galaxy Studios has confirmed that Arc Seed, its turn-based mecha roguelite, will step out of Early Access roughly six weeks from now.
In a community post, the developers tell players they are getting ready for the 1.0 release and expect to ship the full build between the end of August and mid-September, complete with a story campaign, extra bosses, and an entirely new act.
A second, free content patch is pencilled in for later this year to add another mech, additional pilots, and assorted features that miss the launch window.
The announcement lands almost exactly twelve months after Arc Seed first arrived on Steam Early Access on 30 July 2024.
During that year, the game accumulated a modest but largely positive player base while the studio rolled out a series of monthly updates, gradually padding out the weapon catalogue, enemy roster, and environmental art.
The most substantial of those patches, The Pilot Update, went live on 27 June. It introduced three unlockable pilots, Nicole, Grav, and Eugenica, each conferring unique combat perks, and it sprinkled in two experimental weapon cards (Energy Beam and ARC Cross) alongside a stack of balance tweaks such as cost-free evacuation cards and a cheaper shotgun.
For flavour, the Lisbon-based team even slipped the city’s Torre de Belém into the scenery.
Arc Seed is available in early access at the moment on PC through Steam. Below you can find more details about the game and trailer.
