Gaming in the 2020s might have its problems, but one of the great things is that you never have to wait long for a great deal to come your way.
That’s especially true on Steam, where discounts pop up all the time, often giving surprisingly low prices for great games. I’ve found a ton of RPGs and strategy games on the platform this week alone with some eye-catching deals, so if you’re looking for something new to play, try one of the following and save some cash!
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters

Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager

Master of Magic

Master of Magic‘s 2022 remake of the strategy classic is like being transported back to 1994 in all the best ways.
Faithful to the original’s gameplay and ’90s high fantasy aesthetic (think old-school Magic: The Gathering at its best), MoM 2022‘s graphical and quality-of-life upgrades make the game feel just as wondrous as you remember it without feeling clunky or bogged down in outdated mechanics.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII

The base game, featuring Space Marines, Necrons, Orks, and Imperial Guard, is an astounding 90% off until 29 July on Steam, dropping the price from $39.99 to just $3.99.
The Complete Edition is 24% off, but there’s so much content that it’s a bit pricey at $103.58; if you’re looking at getting DLC, we recommend picking and choosing for your favorite factions, which are anywhere from 10% to 30% off individually.
Dead Age 2: The Zombie Survival RPG
