Deseret Games Studio has officially unveiled the first playable demo for Aegis Force: The Scorian War, a story-driven tactical JRPG inspired by classics like Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, and Shining Force II. The game blends grid-based combat with deep character progression, all wrapped in a stunning 2.5D pixel art aesthetic reminiscent of beloved RPGs such as Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger.
In Aegis Force, players take on the role of Callon Roth and his companions as they uncover a powerful magical artifact that could alter the balance of war. Along the way, they will recruit a diverse team of warriors, thieves, mages, and engineers—each with unique abilities and personal story arcs. With fast-paced tactical battles, an innovative character promotion system, and full world exploration, the game promises a dynamic and immersive RPG experience. Aegis Force: The Scorian War is Deseret Games Studio ambitious debut project, with a full release planned for mid-to-late Summer 2026 on PC and Steam Deck, followed by ports to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
