Destiny Code Overview

Publisher aNCHOR and indie studio Project L.A. have lifted the curtain on Destiny Code, a bishojo‑flavoured roguelite deck‑builder that will debut in paid Early Access for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2025.

The announcement arrived alongside English‑and Japanese‑language trailers that you will find below and a new store page.

Set in an academy overseen by an enigmatic Ancient Prehistoric Civilization Central Intelligence Executive Agency, the plot follows former boy‑mercenary Hart Grancer as he mentors the girls while searching for a lost relic known as Grimforge. The premise hints at a conspiracy that will test loyalties and offer branching outcomes shaped by the player’s choices.

The game will debut sometime in 2025 in early access, featuring a roster of seven heroines, Chapters 1 and 2 of the main storyline, and exploring side‑quests dubbed Premium Events.

A turn‑based, card‑driven combat loop and a procedural mission structure are already in place; additional chapters, sub‑events, cards, and gear are promised for free updates during the twelve‑month Early Access window.

Core systems revolve around cards that evolve mid‑battle, a lootable Artifact gear layer with trait synthesis, and optional roguelite free missions for farming materials.

According to the developers, the goal is to let every heroine truly shine by offering multiple build paths and encouraging on‑the‑fly deck adaptation as new cards enter the hand.

The launch lineup features Akina Akitsuki (darts and rapier), Elise von Richthofen (gunblade), Linghua Lang (combat yo‑yo), Alesha Hammond (support specialist), Selene Grancer (rail‑gun blade), and Saki Aihara (stun rods and pistols), plus one heroine whose identity remains under wraps.

Each character wields a personal card set and can unlock bespoke bonding events that feed directly into deck‑building strategy.

A playable build is expected to surface sometime in 2025; until then, interested players can wishlist the game on Steam, below the announcement trailer.

More details

The “fragments” scattered throughout the world are silent witnesses to the pain of a forgotten age.
Whenever the girls reach for them, they find themselves suspended between what was and what’s to come.
Within the pulse of life, feelings take root—and choices must be made.
A single story begins, shaped by prayers and sins alike.

As an agent of the “Ancient Prehistoric Civilization Central Intelligence Executive Agency,” Hart Grancer is a former boy mercenary who has infiltrated the “Academy,” a.k.a. the teaching institution of the subordinate organization.
He is assigned to teach a group of girls who have some mysterious reason to be there, as well as to take on assignments from the Administration.

Then one day, a new mission comes along – the discovery and recovery of the “Grimforge.”
But that was also the beginning of a huge conspiracy.

In the midst of the bustling days, a quiet pause gently appears.
There, you’ll see a gesture they usually hide, or a smile that escapes before they notice.
Moments that quietly bring you closer to the girls—
a fleeting promise of a future not yet named.
