Moving, attacking, and rearranging the battlefield go hand in hand in this tactical roguelike, which already has a free Steam demo.
Hewers’ Workshop announced that Attack of the Astrals, a turn-based strategy roguelite produced by Goblinz Publishing & Gamirror Games, will be released on November 26th, 2026. The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new trailer introducing the final three champions that will make up the initial launch roster: Bombard, Oracle, and Architect.

Three heroes are placed under your control in combat, and movement does most of the heavy lifting. You can move one hero and swap them with units along their way. Once you stop your hero, they will trigger an area attack at that tile.
Therefore, choosing where to stop combines deciding how you want your hero to attack with determining what position each unit will end up in afterward. Beyond controlling movement, you can pull an ally out of harm’s way or create an opportunity to put an enemy unit in a bad spot.
Bombard, a knight, uses an ability that creates explosive minions and removes obstacles. He gets stronger with every unit that clusters near his target. As a mage, Oracle copies, replaces, learns, and utilizes Zodiac abilities throughout a single fight.
These abilities let her access multiple abilities within a fight. Meanwhile, Architect, a rogue, generates scrolls and builds damage on two separate points along her movement path.
In addition to having a growing pool of experience points available to upgrade the character’s abilities, players are able to utilize Zodiac abilities that can only be used once per fight and generate scrolls (that cast spells across the board) that increase the chances of winning fights.
Additionally, liberating areas allows the player to unlock additional abilities and gives the Astral Army the powers of previously defeated enemies. Defeated enemies not only shape the challenges ahead but also how many choices the player has.
