Background story
Blood will be Spilled is a love letter to the spaghetti western movies. It is filled with easter eggs, references and nods to well-known movies by Sergio Leone, Sergio Corbucci or even Quentin Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez but also to many games that formed our taste.

Heavily outgunned and outnumbered, Jack will need help from a few rather unusual allies to even the odds. In the land with no laws, from deserted anthills and dusty mines, through badland battlefields to treacherous swamps, he’s on a hunt for the Calaveras gang. And they are wanted alive…or dead.
Gameplay
The game is almost fully hand drawn in a distinct comic book style. The main protagonist – bounty hunter Jack, is voiced by legendary Elias Toufexis (Adam Jensen from DeusEx series) and on his journey, he meets more than 15 fully voiced and rather peculiar characters.
Always outgunned, hide behind covers, exploit the environment, suck the blood of your enemies and make sure that you’re the last bug standing by using 12 active and 3 passive abilities in 3 different paths; The Good, The Bad or The Ugly.

About developer
Actually, Doublequote Studio is a small studio based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Formed in 2015 by two brothers – Ivan and Martin Kozmon, currently accompanied by few very skilled collaborators. At the moment, they pour all of their heart and soul into the development of their first game – Blood will be Spilled. You can get in touch with them here:
Release date & platforms
Blood will be spilled will be released on Steam in Q1/Q2 2019 while the Nintendo Switch released will be announced soon.
