A Deep RPG Experience With a Huge Open World To Explore
Recently announced, Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir is an intriguing turn-based RPG that immerses players in the fantasy world of Erondàr, offering exploration, dungeons, tactical turn-based combat, and an open world to explore at your leisure.
Developed by the Italian studio Operaludica, Dragonero brings the adventures of the comic series created by Luca Enoch and Stefano Vietti to PC, transforming them into a deep RPG simulation. After trying the demo available on Steam, I was immediately impressed by the quality and ambition of this role-playing game, which puts players in the shoes of five different characters, each with their own unique storyline that converges as they meet.
The game world is undoubtedly one of the most captivating aspects, filled with dungeons and quests to complete. Players can rent a horse to conserve supplies during travel, set up camp to rest, search for food, cook, and more. While exploring dungeons and points of interest, players can take advantage of the various characters’ abilities. Ian, the warrior who resembles Geralt of Rivia, can analyze the surroundings to uncover traps, chests, and enemies. Then there’s Gmor, the strong orc, who can smash through large obstacles to clear the path, and so on.
Combat is tactical, with each character having their own moves and skills to deal with the various creatures and bandits that inhabit the game world. There are also villages where find and accept quests, forge weapons, rest at inns, and much more.
In addition to the single-player adventure, the game will include a mode called Master Mode, which allows players to unleash their creativity by creating new dungeons, creatures, and stories to share with friends.
