HexaNeph Games’ promising RPG will feature hand-built encounters, exploration clues, and a party of three mercenaries.
The Kickstarter campaign for Alarial’s Blessing will go live on May 19, 2026, following a pre-launch period that has already brought the project close to 3,000 followers on Kickstarter.
According to the latest update from developer HexaNeph Games, the campaign has been in preparation for several months, and the team is now ready to open funding for the upcoming turn-based RPG.
Alarial’s Blessing is a 2D, top-down RPG built around exploration, story choices, and hand-crafted turn-based battles.
The game follows Kal, Tyranel, and Mina, three mercenaries traveling across the continent of Vollun while taking jobs, meeting unusual characters, and getting drawn into a larger story tied to the goddess Alarial. The setup has a classic adventure tone, but the design seems focused on slower, more deliberate play rather than constant combat.
One of the more interesting details is how the game handles quests and exploration. There is no traditional quest tracker. Kal keeps notes in a journal, and players need to pay attention to conversations, clues, and maps to figure out where to go next.
Combat also avoids random encounters. Battles are designed one by one, with each encounter built around enemy behavior, arena layout, and environmental elements.
The Kickstarter campaign will include several standard reward tiers. Planned items include a Kickstarter-exclusive DLC, a physical copy of the game, a softcover manual, a hardcover art book, beta access, and alpha access.
The team also plans to offer a limited number of designer tiers, letting some backers work with the developers on content such as critters, town NPCs, combat monsters, side quests, full combat encounters, and even primary story NPCs.
HexaNeph Games is currently pointing interested players toward the game’s Discord server for more details before the campaign begins.
The team is also collecting feedback on the planned reward tiers through a poll, which gives followers a chance to weigh in before the Kickstarter goes live. Alarial’s Blessing is currently listed on Steam with no final release date announced.
