Turn-based tactical inspired by Xcom and FTL where we led a team of soldiers on procedurally generated missions.
A wave of civil unrest ravaged the country after a rigged election put President Pablo Escobeer back into power. The government labeled the political opposition as ‘the enemy of the people’ and declared a national emergency to weaken any resistance. The ruthless president killed thousands by abusing his executive powers to use chemical weapons against peaceful protesters and rebels alike.
Your team was sent into the country to help its people to overthrow the corrupt regime. They discovered the location of a factory compound that was rumored to manufacture a deadly gas. After infiltrating the compound, it became very clear that something was off. Help your team of hired guns to stop the chemical attacks and guide them back to safety.
After selecting the mission, we find ourselves on a long horizontal grid map We will cross by completing various tasks such as destroying trucks with explosives, retrieve objects etc.
Each unit can perform 2 actions per turn, such as moving and attacking or attacking 2 times or even overwatch. Before selecting a place on the map we will have a preview of the target hitting percentage.
During the mission, we will find med-kits and grenades we can use.
Our soldiers will level up and at each level will be able to choose between two skills to be acquired, and along the way, we will find armor that will increase strength and powerful weapons that deals more damage, and we can even drive a tank.
Enemies along the way will become stronger and of various types. Each one will have to be treated differently.
