The White Fox is another potential starter pet in WitchSpring R that is best summoned by MAG players. White Fox is certainly a very niche pet considering its skill effects but is not exactly useless. It deals decent damage in the early game while running a MAG build and aids in player’s survivability, especially if you didn’t spec in defense. Although this pet is fairly easy to find, some players may not understand how exactly to tame it.

About White Fox

Overview

A fox that can unleash mystical power with a flick of its tail.

White Fox is a great choice as an alternative combat pet for Boar Jr. It is especially useful for players opting in to spec around MAG and not so much on defense. This pet offers decent magic damage with decent scaling for an early game pet. Not to mention a skill that hits 5 times while also reducing enemy ATK and DEF, helping greatly against high health enemies.

Location

White Fox is located in the furthest part of the Fox Den. The Fox Den is one of the caverns inside Backhill Golem Cave. White Fox will initially be an inanimate but interactable stone statue. In order to free it from its petrification, you’ll need a White Fox Marble in your inventory then interact with it. Once you do, you’ll be able to fight and tame it.

USE CASE

White Fox is actually a pretty useful pet in the early game, especially if you’re playing with a glass cannon MAG build. Because of its decent MAG scaling as well as its Foxfire Festival skill, it’s a pet that performs really well in combat. Aside from that, its attacks also lower the enemies’ ATK making them hit for lower damage. The Foxfire Festival also lowers enemy DEF making them more susceptible to your attacks, quite perfect for dealing with enemies that are on the high health spectrum, mostly bosses. But let’s be honest, you’ll probably summon this pet not because it’s useful, but because it actually looks so freaking cool!
