Good Shepherd Entertainment, has recently announced the upcoming release of a new tactical roguelite game called Dicefolk. Developed by Leap Studios and Tiny Ghoul, Dicefolk combines monster-collecting and dice mechanics to offer players a unique and strategic gaming experience. The game is set to launch later this year on PC.

Dicefolk

In Dicefolk, players assume the role of Dicefolk, extraordinary beings with the ability to bring magical creatures known as chimeras to life from their grimoire. However, some of these chimeras have begun causing chaos and it is up to the players to restore peace and harmony to the land. Armed with dice-shaped artifacts that can command the chimeras, players must lead their squad to victory by taking control of every battle.

One of the key features of Dicefolk is its thrilling roguelite adventure. Players will have the opportunity to collect new and more powerful chimeras and unlock talismans that reveal more of the game’s story. With endless possibilities and replayability, players can discover different combinations of chimeras to enable new strategies for each run.

In combat, players have complete control over the fate of the dice. They can command their chimeras while choosing the faces of the dice and determining the order in which each party takes its actions. These choices will significantly impact the outcome of the battles as players face off against a variety of wild creatures.

To master the game, players can recruit their squad from a diverse range of dozens of mighty monsters. Each chimera possesses a unique set of abilities, allowing players to shape their strategy and adapt their play style to overcome any challenge that comes their way. With its innovative blend of tactical gameplay, monster-collecting mechanics, and dice-based combat, Dicefolk promises to deliver an exciting and strategic gaming experience for players on PC later this year.
