Quartet, the latest retro-inspired JRPG from Something Classic Games, is out now on PC, Mac, and Linux. Known for their previous release, Shadows of Adam, the studio brings another character-driven adventure that blends the charm of ‘90s console RPGs with modern design updates.

The game begins with four separate stories, ranging from political conspiracies to visions of other worlds, before uniting into a larger tale across 11 chapters.

Players will command an eight-person party in turn-based battles, swapping characters between the front and back lines to manage resources and maximize damage.

With more than 50 unique combat abilities, hundreds of pieces of equipment, and 24 dungeons to explore, Quartet promises depth alongside its nostalgic pixel art presentation.

Offering about 20 hours of main story content and additional side quests, Quartet is available now for $19.99 on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, below the release day trailer.
