A few days ago, an incredible bundle dropped on a site that’s become a treasure trove for insane deals. This time, indie.io, a well-known publisher with a solid lineup of indie gems, has teamed up with Humble Bundle to offer a killer collection of games. The “indie.io Super Bundle” includes four standout turn-based RPGs, plus a variety of action games that add even more value to the mix.

As with most Humble Bundles, you get to decide how much you want to pay. There are different tiers, and depending on what you choose, you’ll unlock a certain number of games. Starting at just 1€ for a single game, you can go all the way up to 30€. But here’s the kicker: for just 11€, you unlock the entire bundle.

Now, let’s focus on what we’re all here for—those juicy turn-based RPGs, perfect for turn based lovers.

Symphony of War DLC

One game that absolutely stands out from this bundle is Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga—seriously, this is one of the best indie strategy games to come out in recent years (and I’m not exaggerating here). Released in 2022, it delivers deep, squad-based tactical gameplay reminiscent of classics like Fire Emblem and Ogre Battle.

In the game, you command squads of up to nine units, with a huge variety of customization options. You can assign different classes, from infantry to mages, depending on your resources. The setting is the war-ravaged land of Tahnra, where the story centers on an approaching apocalypse and legendary heroes.

The game packs 30 core missions, along with side quests and even an arena mode for extra challenges. Plus, as part of this bundle, you get a 50% discount coupon for the Legends DLC—perfect if you want to dive deeper into the world of Tahnra.

Dream Tactics

Another standout tactical RPG in this bundle is Dream Tactics, a hidden gem that dropped just a few months ago and has already racked up “Very Positive” reviews on Steam. Its vibrant, storybook-style visuals set the stage for a whimsical yet strategic adventure where—you read that right—you’ll be battling evil, sneaky pillows. Yes, pillows. But don’t let the lighthearted theme fool you, because the gameplay offers some serious depth.

The combat is turn-based, and each character comes with a customizable deck of action cards. Every turn, you draw cards and spend MP to execute abilities like attacks or heals. One of the coolest aspects is how the game rewards strategic thinking by letting characters share cards and combine abilities. This opens up tons of possibilities for creating synergies and more complex tactical maneuvers.

If you’re into exploring vast worlds and capturing monsters, Coromon is right up your alley—a fantastic Pokémon-like game done right. I actually finished it a few months ago with my daughter, and I was genuinely impressed by the wide range of features this 2022 release brings to the table.

Coromon

Coromon, is a retro-inspired monster-taming RPG set in the colorful world of Velua. You play as a battle researcher, tasked with capturing and training over 120 Coromon creatures, each with distinct elemental powers. The game really nails that classic monster-catching formula while adding its own unique twists.

Players engage in turn-based battles against wild Coromon and formidable Titan bosses, while also solving puzzles in various biomes. With charming pixel art, a lighthearted story, and a variety of game modes (including Nuzlocke and randomizer options), Coromon provides a nostalgic experience tailored for fans of classic monster-catching games.

The final turn-based indie gem in this bundle is Dark Deity (2021), another strategic masterpiece that takes heavy inspiration from Fire Emblem. This tactical RPG is set in the war-torn world of Terrazael, where a group of military academy students are thrown into a full-scale conflict.

Interviews with devs

Dark Deity features grid-based combat, with over 30 playable characters, each offering different tactical opportunities. One of the coolest aspects is the branching class system, giving you tons of options for building and customizing your squad. Unlike Fire Emblem’s weapon triangle system, this game introduces four weapon types—Power, Finesse, Focus, and Balance—allowing for a more flexible and adaptive approach to combat.

Not bad for about 11€, right? And of course, you’re not just getting these four awesome games—there’s plenty more in this bundle, which I’ll list for you below!

  • Voltaire – The Vegan Vampire
  • Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga
  • One Lonely Outpost
  • Cat Cafe Manager
  • Airborne Kingdom
  • Coromon
  • To The Rescue!
  • Dark Deity
  • LunarLux
  • COUPON: 50% OFF Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga – Legends
  • COUPON: 75% OFF Dark Deity – Suns Out, Swords Out
  • Blood And Zombies

It’s also worth reminding you that with Humble Bundle, you’re not just scoring a great deal and grabbing some awesome games—you’re also contributing to charity. A portion of the proceeds from each bundle goes to various charitable organizations, so you can feel good about supporting a good cause while expanding your game library. It’s a win-win!
