Upcoming PC Turn-based Strategy Rpg of September 2019
I don’t know about you, but I like very much September.
It is a month not too hot to take a walk in the park and, at the same time, not too cold to go to the seaside and take a swim.
But, above all, it is usually a month full of outstanding releases! So, without any further delay, let’s see what awaits us over the coming weeks.
SIN SLAYER – 5th September

This is a very interesting game that mixes the mechanics of the turn-based RPG with roguelike elements. The result seems to be fascinating. Few months ago we published an exhaustive preview, so if you want to know more about it simply click here.
Besides there also the possibility to try the game before purchasing it. Some time ago Goonswarm released on Steam the Prologue and if you want you can download it for free here!
FANTASY GENERAL II – 5 September

Armies once again draw battle-lines on the war-torn land of Keldonia, and a new generation of commanders will test their bravery and tactics against each other. Fantasy wargaming is back!
FIT FOR A KING – 5 September

This is maybe the strangest game of the month (not necessarily in a bad way!). It is defined as a Henry VIII simulator!
Your goal? Humiliate France with your wealth and extravagance or die trying!
Madness and excesses presented in a graphic style that calls to mind the old Ultima games. Really charming!
QUEEN’S WISH – 11 September

If you are truly a RPG lover you HAVE to know Jeff Vogel and his Spiderweb Software. Their games usually sucks under the graphic aspect but excels in the gameplay fields.
Now, after the Avadon and the Avernum series, is finally arriving a brand new game, full of epic and fantasy adventures in an open-ended world, where you’ll have to conquer no less than the entire Empire!
OVERLAND – 19 September

Take care of a group of travelers on a post-apocalyptic road-trip across the United States in this turn-based survival game.
STYGIAN: REIGN OF THE OLD ONES – 26 September

I’ve had my eye on it for ages. I truly love Lovecraft and the idea of a turn-based game set in the universe created by this brilliant writer represents a dream come true.
A wonderful hand drawn 2D world, a interesting Belief and Sanity system and all the scaring abominations from the Lovecraft novels all mixed in a charming turnbased RPG!
Why the release date seems still so far?
MAGNOLIA – 30 September

I don’t know very much about this game. From what I read in Magnolia, you’ll be rebuilding your capital and planning your tactical excursions into the wildland of the Old World.
It is described as 2D turn-based combat simulation in which you will have to guide your people, make important decisions and battle hordes of enemies.
