Back in April 2022, Square Enix announced Front Mission: Borderscape as a new chapter in the Front Mission series developed by BlackJack Studio. Today the developer and the new publisher ZlongGames just announced the change of direction for the project, starting from its name. Mecharashi is the new title, and from now on, the game is no longer associated with Square Enix Front Mission.
Mecharashi is being developed by Langrisser Mobile devs, and it will be a mecha tactical RPG set in its own universe, and it will be released on mobile and PC. Here is the official website, and below the teaser trailer. More info and screens soon.
