Vagrus The Riven Realms

Open-world story-driven RPG, Vagrus: The Riven Realms by Lost Pilgrims Studio landed on Humble. We discussed it a lot in the past, and here you can read our review. The game is included in the Humble Store and players making purchases there will receive Steam keys for the game. Vagrus is not part of any specific Bundle just yet, it will simply be present on Humble’s storefront itself, launching with a 20% discount that will last from November 18 through Black Friday and the following weekend.

Aside from branching out onto new storefronts, the developer has been aiming to bring Vagrus to more people focusing on three areas:

  • Porting the game onto various hand-held devices, including the increasingly popular and much-lauded Steam Deck.
  • Controller support for the game is currently being added, allowing for standard controllers, gamepads, and other devices to work on these new platforms as well as in the PC version of the game, too.
  • The studio has enabled and facilitated community localization efforts by allowing the assembly of several teams to put together potentially ‘official’ versions of the game in other languages, though with the game already sporting more than 1.2 million words, they have their work cut out for them.

Besides their coding work, the team has been developing additional content, too, releasing two free DLCs in the last six months, and teasing their first paid DLC, which will add an entirely new region and be available sometime next year.

All in all, the Lost Pilgrims team is working with the utmost commitment to bring Vagrus – The Riven Realms to as many people as possible, and this inclusion on the Humble Store is a stride in the direction of that goal.
