I think I’ve managed to give a solid, if not quite complete, coverage of the October 2025 edition of the Next Fest. It’s the festival where the spotlight shines on countless playable demos of games still in development.
For many indie devs, it’s the perfect opportunity to debut their project for the first time and let players get an early feel for it.
I mentioned “solid coverage” because this year I managed to put together an initial list of 20 demos that I found genuinely interesting, followed by 10+ more that are just as compelling, plenty of material for anyone looking to discover some new RPG, strategy, or roguelite gems.
