Angelic: Dark Symphony Overview

Independent developer Angelicore Game Studios has announced Angelic: Dark Symphony, a cinematic science-fiction RPG currently in development for PC. Its debut in-engine teaser offers an early look at the game’s ensemble cast, turn-based combat, and a future shaped by humanity’s attempts to accelerate its own evolution.

Angelic: Dark Symphony Combat System

Set two centuries after the devastating Interhuman Wars, Dark Symphony explores a world where corporations created genetically advanced neo-humans to survive the challenges of deep-space colonization. These beings eventually became known as angels, but their physical and intellectual superiority made them targets for exploitation and control.

The angels ultimately rebelled, defeated their creators, and disappeared into the depths of space. Now they are returning, and something far more troubling appears to be following them.

Angelic: Dark Symphony shifts between several playable heroes whose journeys unfold in parallel. Each character has their own motivations, relationships, and conflicts, while their individual abilities determine how they perform during tactical, turn-based encounters.

Angelic: Dark Symphony Character

Founder and Game Director Erkan Bayol explained that the game’s setting began with a question about how humanity might adapt to space faster than natural evolution would allow.

This idea led to the creation of the neo-humans and the conflict that followed when corporations attempted to suppress the very beings they had engineered.

The opening campaign takes place on Dreadheaven, a remote neo-human colony formerly called The Heaven. After the settlement abruptly stops communicating, the heroes are sent to investigate. Their mission soon develops into a much larger crisis involving questions of faith, morality, identity, evolution, and the nature of reality itself.

Angelic: Dark Symphony Exploration

Angelicore describes the project as a character-driven RPG built around cinematic storytelling, cosmic tragedy, and hero-focused tactical combat. The international studio includes developers who previously held senior positions at companies such as Bungie, Crytek, and Ceidot Game Studios.

Angelic: Dark Symphony is currently confirmed for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with additional platforms still under consideration, while its newly released teaser provides the first substantial glimpse of its ominous science-fiction universe.
