BladeLantern Studios and Infini Fun will release Forsaker: DingDing & Blade on PC this month. The game combines visual novel storytelling with deckbuilding card battles and roguelite structure, offering both narrative-driven and strategy-focused playstyles.

The story takes place on the continent of Herl, where a cursed race known as the Forsakers struggles with the instinct to devour their own kind.
Players follow Papeti, a Forsaker seeking love and freedom in a world marked by bloodshed and betrayal. Told through POV-style narration, the narrative extends beyond 200,000 words and features a gothic fantasy art style with hand-painted visuals. Separate character arcs eventually converge, revealing the truth behind the world’s conflict.

Gameplay alternates between visual novel segments and card-based combat. Battles allow offensive, defensive, and support strategies, with new allies joining throughout the story to expand tactical options.
Roguelite design introduces randomized routes, encounters, and events, keeping each run different. For players more interested in the narrative than in combat, the game includes a “Lazy Mode” that removes battles and focuses solely on choices and relationships.
Forsaker: DingDing & Blade will be priced at $10.99 and will launch with a 10 percent discount during its first week on sale.

BladeLantern Studios was founded by the content producer of Gemini’s Tale 2: Bloodline Oath and the lead artist of the Gemini’s Tale series.
The team’s goal is to create story-driven experiences with a distinctive visual identity. Publisher Infini Fun, founded in 2024, draws on 15 years of combined industry experience in funding, technical support, and design, and is working to expand its catalog across PC and console platforms.
