Some of the best SRPG on Fanatical

This morning, I checked out the well-known gaming portal Fanatical, and the number of bundles and deals available genuinely blew me away. With so many options, it can be hard to know where to start. So, let me give you a tip: start with the Summer Bundle because it’s seriously loaded with value.

The bundle offers a selection of 19 titles, and here’s the kicker—if you pick up to 5 games, you’ll pay just 1 euro per game. But if you go beyond that and grab more than 5, the price drops to 0.60€ per game, and once you hit 10+ games, it goes down further to just 0.50€ each. When you consider the quality of some of these titles, it’s an unbeatable deal. Now, let me tell you the most important part: what’s in this bundle.

Dark Deity
Fire Emblem-Like Dark Deity is Part of Fanatical Summer Bundle.

First up is Dark Deity, an SRPG very much in the vein of Fire Emblem, released in 2021. It currently boasts a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam. With its pixelated graphics, solid storyline, and engaging mechanics, it’s an excellent primer to get you ready for the next entry in the series, which is slated for 2025.

Another SRPG in the mix is Telepath Tactics Liberated, an enhanced version of the tactical RPG that allows players to exploit the environment to their advantage—think pushing enemies into hazards or detonating explosive materials. The developer is also behind Together in Battle, currently in Early Access, so you know this indie dev has some serious chops when it comes to creating tactical strategy games.

For fans of Warhammer and PvP combat, there’s the acclaimed Mordheim: City of the Damned. This turn-based tactical RPG has various factions vying for control and resources in a war-torn city after a catastrophic event. You’ll lead warbands from factions like Human Mercenaries, Skaven, Sisters of Sigmar, and the Cult of the Possessed, each with unique abilities and playstyles.

You can take advantage of the environment in tactical RPG Telepath Tactics Liberated.

Switching gears to a different setting, there’s a trilogy bundle dedicated to the renowned strategic series Unity of Command. This includes Unity of Command: Stalingrad Campaign, Black Turn DLC, and Red Turn DLC. And finally, for deckbuilder enthusiasts, there’s Monster Slayers, a 2017 release that has since garnered a “Very Positive” rating on Steam.

These are the turn-based gems included in Fanatical’s Summer Bundle, though the bundle certainly doesn’t stop here. Below, you’ll find the full list of titles included:

  • Dark Deity
  • Asterix & Obelix XXL 2
  • DESOLATE
  • Telepath Tactics Liberated
  • Overloop
  • Kathy Rain
  • The Wild Eight
  • Mordheim: City of the Damned
  • The Town of Light
  • The Haunted Island, a Frog Detective Game
  • Uurnog Uurnlimited
  • Grotto

  • Unity of Command Trilogy Bundle
  • Blood And Zombies
  • Demon Pit
  • Monster Slayers
  • Pumped BMX Pro

That’s everything this packed bundle has to offer, but Fanatical is, of course, much more than just this—it’s a treasure trove of deals and bundles. Let me know what you think and whether you plan on taking advantage of this digital treasure chest.

Plus, if you love isometric CRPG, don’t forget to check out the Humble Bundle Beamdog & Owlcat: RPG Masters.
