Toge Productions is bringing Vanaris Tactics to Xbox and Nintendo Switch on March 2nd, 2023, after the game’s initial release on PC in August 2022. The game is a short narrative tactical RPG developed by a solo developer, Matheus Reis, from Brazil. The story follows Morgana, Nigel, and Adrien, refugees fleeing their occupied homeland, searching for freedom outside the walls of Vanaris.
Vanaris Tactics offers players a bite-sized tactical game experience with a light narrative and elements of old-school tactical RPG games. Historical events and fictional stories inspire the game, telling the tale of people living inside a wall, trying to find answers to their predicament. Matheus Reis drew inspiration from his favorite tactical games, such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, to create Vanaris Tactics.
This game features an intuitive turn-based combat system, different combinations of weapons and accessories, various skills and status effects, and a vast land of Vanaris to explore. Players can discover powerful treasures and hear untold stories as they progress through the game.
Vanaris Tactics will be available on Xbox and Nintendo Switch for a base price of US$9.99 on March 2nd, 2023. Preorders are available on both platforms.
