Steam’s No Time To Loot Festival 2025 runs until Sept 29 and features dozens of dungeon delves, roguelikes, and turn-based RPGs. I’ve selected 17 demos worth your attention, all playable.
The event is dedicated to games that feature exploration and looting for riches, gear, and any valuable items hidden in the dark recesses of dungeons, fortresses, cellars, and other places we love to delve into.
For the occasion, I combed through some of the titles taking part in the event, which runs until September 29, focusing especially on those that have a demo available.
Naturally, the event page also features plenty of announcements and a slew of intriguing games ranging from pure RPGs to roguelites, autobattlers, deckbuilders, and much more.
Many of the titles I’ve picked out have release dates not too far off, others less so, and some are already available, but with a demo, you’ll have a chance to size them up and maybe even pick one up.
Cosmos Point
- Developer: Anatoliy Sidorov
- Release Date: 2025
- Steam Page

Cosmos Point is the first on this list, and regular readers of our site will know it was recently mentioned in the September 2025 Indie Showcase.
A squad-based, turn-based tactics roguelite with an extraction loop: gear up a small team, scavenge resources during missions, and use what you bring back to upgrade your space station. Inventory Tetris, mid-mission loadout swaps, and a free demo round out the pitch.
The Good Overlord
- Developer: Atomic Hamster
- Release Date: TBA
- Steam Page

I’d never heard of The Good Overlord, which is odd given it has the art style I’m obsessed with.
A roguelite autobattler bag-builder where you’re the dungeon’s Overlord, guiding the hero through your own lair instead of killing him, until he finally faces you. Runs mix auto-battles with item draws and route choices.
Rune Ark
- Developer: WelesGames
- Release Date: TBA
- Steam Page

Another UI that caught my eye is Rune Ark’s. A dark-fantasy RPG that blends match-3 combat with dungeon exploration and narrative choices as a young squire uncovers eldritch secrets beneath a castle. Decisions shape alliances and endings.
Dreadstone Keep
- Developer: Crit42 Studio
- Release Date: TBA
- Steam Page

Tactical combat on small, ultra-pixelated maps, that’s the core premise of Dreadstone Keep.
A strategy roguelike where you ascend/descend an ancient fortress ruled by two Dark Powers, upgrading between turn-based battles against pixel-art foes. The goal: break both overlords and restore peace.
FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS
- Developer: ginolabo
- Release Date: 26 Aug, 2024
- Steam Page

The world of FAIRY TAIL in a roguelite with turn-based, card-driven combat, but instead of the usual deckbuilder vibe, it feels more like a full-on JRPG to me.
In FAIRY TAIL: Dungeons, you collect magic cards based on series moves, build runs with familiar characters, and push deeper into randomized dungeons. It launched on Steam with very positive reviews in 2024.
Die for the Lich
- Developer: Monovoid
- Release Date: Q4 2025
- Steam Page

I realize that, to me, all the games I picked have an appealing, inspired UI. Die for the Lich is no exception.
A dice-driven roguelike deckbuilder where you pair rolled dice and trinkets with weapons to tackle mythic monsters en route to the Lich. There’s a playable demo and full release is targeting late 2025.
Fight Life: Vanguard
- Developer: StartImpulse, Two Cakes Studio
- Release Date: Q1 2026
- Steam Page

Fight Life: Vanguard has been mentioned by me countless times on these pages, both when it was announced and in various lists where it took center stage. The reason is simple: it looks like an Amiga game, and to me, that’s about as good as it gets.
The game is a turn-based tactical RPG in a dark-fantasy setting; recruit from a pool of mercenaries, manage upgrades, and lead a squad across perilous regions to stave off oblivion. Planned for 2026.
The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles
- Developer: Fix-a-Bug
- Release Date: 23 Oct, 2025
- Steam Page

I might be a little biased here, the developer behind this gem is Italian, but that’s obviously not the only thing that makes The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles interesting.
It speaks for itself with a gorgeous UI and gameplay that looks simple on the surface but is genuinely fun.
2D pixel-art dungeon crawler with roguelite structure and turn-based combat that aims for quick, arcade-like pacing; weapons act like character-defining abilities, and stages remix themselves each run.
Lords of Ravage
- Developer: Synthetic Domain
- Release Date: Q4 2025
- Steam Page

Another heavily hyped title is definitely Lords of Ravage.
A reverse dungeon-crawler where you are the Final Boss: recruit followers from rival factions, expand your dark empire, and win flashy turn-based battles while hunting a world-shaping artifact. A standalone combat slice, Dread Knights, is also on Steam.
The Fortress
- Developer: Baryonyx Games
- Release Date: TBA
- Steam Page

Another Italian indie developer with a truly distinctive, intriguing project. It’s called The Fortress and is a dark fantasy, dice-enhanced, turn-based dungeon crawler about delving into cursed chambers, choosing a class, and gambling risk against brutal enemies and bosses. Strategy meets push-your-luck loot runs.
Into The Grid
- Developer: Flatline Studios
- Release Date: Q4 2025
- Steam Page

Cyberpunk roguelike deckbuilder with board-game-like map exploration and resource management; battle megacorps in card-driven fights while charting tactical routes across nodes.
I’ve watched a bunch of videos of Into the Grid, and I have to say the enemy animations during encounters are seriously slick, and the exploration phase looks really compelling, too. That said, my hype for this title, which has been on my wishlist for a long time now, has shot through the roof.
Hidden Pass
- Developer: GG Studio
- Release Date: 14 Aug, 2025
- Steam Page

Hidden Pass debuted on PC this past August, and anyone who’s curious can try the demo made available for this Steam event.
Tactical, story-driven roguelite RPG set across floating sky-islands; assemble a crew, field techno-magical devices, and even construct automatons to fight across layered battle maps. There’s also a free Skirmishes prologue.
LURKS WITHIN WALLS
- Developer: Here Be Monsters
- Release Date: TBA
- Steam Page

Survival-horror meets modern DRPG: explore cursed spaces and fight in fast turn-based encounters against creatures inspired by Trevor Henderson’s art. Emphasis on tension, dungeon navigation, and hard-hitting encounters.
LURKS WITHIN WALLS is a cross between a turn-based RPG and Resident Evil, and it seems to work really well.
THYSIASTERY
- Developer: DIRGA
- Release Date: 2025
- Steam Page

One of those old-school dungeon crawlers I absolutely love is definitely THYSIASTERY.
Retro-styled, turn-based dungeon-crawling roguelike where a branded party descends a vast Labyrinth, allying with NPCs, discovering biomes like buried forests and underwater cities, and learning to escape.
Novus Orbis
- Developer: Seizo Games
- Release Date: 10 Feb, 2025
- Steam Page

Novus Orbis also has Italian developers on board, and here, too, the art style is striking and the UI is really well put together.
Combo-based deckbuilder roguelite with a time-loop hook: chain cards in precise orders, unlock pets and blessings, and chase big synergies to act before foes. It was released in early access in 2025 with positive user reviews so far.
Intermundia: Dungeons, Polygons & Magic
- Developer: Trinity Team, Excaliber
- Release Date: Q1 2026
- Steam Page

Choice-driven RPG from Trinity Team with deep, turn-based combat and multiple endings, plan your moves and live with the consequences across a stylized, low-poly fantasy adventure.
I tried Intermundia: Dungeons, Polygons & Magic a while back, and I’m not sure if this is an updated build or the same one. Either way, it’s a title worth checking out.
Rogue Titan
- Developer: Happyland Games
- Release Date: TBA
- Steam Page

And I’ll wrap up this No Time To Loot Festival 2025 list with a stylish, brutal roguelike: Rogue Titan.
A traditional roguelike set in Greek myth where you play Prometheus, select from eight archetypes, navigate procedural dungeons, and fight in “the world moves when you do” encounters with permadeath.
