The week leading up to the arrival of Baldur’s Gate 3 has been very crowded with releases and interesting news about equally interesting titles. Let’s start then this weekly recap.

1. Sci-Fi Strategy Cantata Out of Early Access Next Month: The sci-fi strategy game Cantata, developed by Afterschool Studio, is set to leave early access on August 10, 2023. The game, combining elements of strategy and supply chain management, allows players to build and manage their armies, research new technologies, and explore a nine-chapter campaign.
2. Dominate the Cybernetic Jungle in Strategy 4X Ataxia Announcement: Ataxia, a new 4X strategy game developed by Team Niche, has been announced. The game, set in a cybernetic jungle, allows players to control a faction of robots to explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate to achieve dominance.

Divinity: Original Sin 3 Will Be Made Sooner or Later: Larian Studios, the developer of the much-anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3, has confirmed that a new entry in the Divinity: Original Sin series will likely be developed in the future. The studio plans to take a break to recharge and reignite their creative spark following the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3 before returning to the Divinity series.

1. Space Cats Tactics Available on PC: Space Cats Tactics, developed by Mitzi Games, is now available on PC. It’s a tactical turn-based game where players command a spaceship crew of cats exploring a hand-drawn galaxy. The game combines elements of FTL: Faster Than Light and XCOM, with players making decisions that affect the storyline.
2. Tangledeep: Roguelike 16-Bit Magic for PS4: Impact Gameworks has released their 16-bit RPG-inspired dungeon crawler, Tangledeep, on PlayStation 4.
